The knitting Guild meeting was informative and full of baby hats!!!! Lots of baby hats and Prayer shawls have been finished and they look GREAT!!! We will photograph all of them before we ship them off. Great job by everyone! Thanks so very much!
Finally the Guild's schedule of meetings is set for the remainder of the year. All meetings will take place at Lula's Mealange at 26 Church Street. We are open for suggestions for other locations to hold them and hope members will give suggestions. The meetings will by the first Saturday of every month (except for September as it is Labor Day weekend) at 3:00 PM and the third Thursday of every month at 6:30 PM. December will have only one meeting and it will be a holiday party with Secret Pals. The schedule is as follows:

September 9th at 3PM and September 21st at 6:30
October 7th at 3PM and October 19th at 6:30PM
November 4th at 3PM and November 16th at 6:30PM
and Sunday December 10th at 1PM - LOCATION TO BE ANNOUNCED


NYC Knit Out Sunday, September 17th:
Meanwhile anyone interested in signing up for the NYC Knit out should stop by Lucilles OR mail a check for $10 to me to reserve your space. I am working with Metro North for dicsounted tickets on the train for the Knit out. We will depart from Bridgeport as a group. If you are interested, please be sure to sign up and I will be posting again the deadline for reservations for the train. Lucille is working on arranging for a possible class at Parsons and Iam working on a visit to Habu Textiles, a WONDERFUL shop Full of all kinds of GREAT fibers to puchase.

I will post the final plans for the trip as soon as we get them all finalized.
